Dan Markovich’s paintings explore human relationships and emotional presence through color, gesture, and movement.

Working primarily in oil on canvas, his compositions combine figurative suggestion with expressive abstraction, creating scenes that feel suspended between memory and theatre.

His works from the early 1990s reflect an intense interest in atmosphere and psychological space, where figures emerge from light and dissolve into painterly rhythm.

Evening Walk is an expressive oil painting by Dan Markovich (signed and dated 1990). A powerful atmosphere of motion and shadow.
