A. Kostev’s work is characterized by theatrical composition and symbolic narrative. His paintings bring together multiple figures, fragmented spaces, and rich tonal contrasts to create scenes that evoke stage design and poetic allegory.

Through layered imagery and expressive color, Kostev transforms everyday gestures into visual storytelling, inviting viewers into a world where memory, performance, and imagination intersect.

Theatre is an expressive oil painting by A. Kostev (signed and dated 1991), rich in figures, rhythm, and dramatic energy. Available via AlexArt inquiry.
