AlexArt International

Where art, vision, and life converge

Alexa Scanziani — Founder of AlexArt International Art Gallery

Alexa Scanziani

Founder & Curator

An enthusiastic traveler and eclectic collector, Alexa Scanziani has always surrounded herself with objects that express beauty, culture, and the joy of life. Born and raised in Milan, she developed her artistic sensibility early through exposure to important European collections spanning centuries of visual and decorative arts.

Her curiosity led her abroad at a young age, where academic scholarships brought her to the United States and opened a career in journalism and international reporting. For over two decades she wrote about global affairs, culture, music, and the arts — experiences that shaped her curatorial eye and global perspective.

In 2015 she founded AlexArt International in Sarasota, transforming a vision into a refined cultural destination representing international contemporary artists alongside selected historical works. Her approach blends aesthetic intuition, intellectual curiosity, and a deep appreciation for artistic dialogue.

Alongside her curatorial work, Alexa explores her own artistic practice, inspired by classical music and botanical forms — an extension of the sensitivity that has guided her lifelong engagement with art.

A Gallery Built on Vision

Founded in Sarasota in 2015, AlexArt International grew from a personal vision into a dynamic cultural space shaped by artistic dialogue, experimentation, and community engagement. What began as an ambitious transformation of an empty gallery environment quickly became a destination where contemporary expression and classical sensibility coexist, establishing AlexArt International as a leading contemporary art gallery in Sarasota for collectors and art enthusiasts from the United States and worldwide.

From early collaborations with international artists to the expansion of a diverse roster of painters, photographers, and mixed-media creators, the gallery has cultivated a program defined by strong visual identity and emotional resonance. Exhibitions, live events, and cultural gatherings have reinforced its role not only as an exhibition venue but as a living creative hub.

Rooted in curiosity, collaboration, and global perspective, AlexArt International continues to evolve — guided by the belief that art should inspire connection, reflection, and discovery.

AlexArt International is consistently recognized among the top-rated art galleries in Sarasota by visitors and collectors.

Fabio Dal Boni

Artist in Residence

Fabio Dal Boni is the co-founder of AlexArt International and the gallery’s Artist in Residence. Born in Italy and raised across America and Europe, his multicultural background shaped a lifelong search for light, perception, and emotional resonance through visual expression.

Before dedicating himself fully to art, he worked internationally in journalism and corporate leadership — experiences that inform the narrative depth and conceptual clarity present in his work today.

Dal Boni’s paintings are known for their luminous presence and dimensionality, created through experimental techniques on aluminum that capture vibrant atmospheres and transformative color. His works have been exhibited internationally and collected by audiences drawn to their balance of realism, energy, and contemplative space.

Beyond painting, he is also an author and creative storyteller whose exploration of perception, memory, and experience continues across multiple artistic mediums. Visit the artist’s official website for additional insights and works.
